Rallies in Roanoke - Bill Clinton and Barack Obama - Page 1 of 3
We went to two political rallies for the Obama campaign in Roanoke this past week. The first was in the market square downtown, where Bill Clinton spoke, and the second was in a nearly-full Roanoke Civic Center, where Barack gave a half-hour stump speech after being introduced by Senator Jim Webb.
My camera batteries were a bit low at the second rally, which is why I don't have a tremendous number of pictures.

People were also camped out along the rows of storefronts around the square, outside the barriers. They ended up having pretty good seats for the show. |
